How did Jasmine do it? It's obvious.

Lets take the facts:

1) Diana, according to all the judges, was the best on Disco Night.
2) Fantasia chose the song "I need a hero"
3) LaToya sang "Don't leave me this way"
4) Jasmine is the only asian, Diana is the only white one

Okay here are the theory's:

A) Revenge of Nikki McKibbin: It makes you wonder how Carmen and Nikki (hell even Josh Gracin) got so far, it's the over support. All you need is one state. Utah. Texas. Hawaii. Who cares if you suck at singing? You support your state, they support you. Thus Jasmine.

B) Where did George's votes go to?: My thoughts? Most of his votes went to the "most deserving" for that night. It was luck for Diana as she absorbed most of George's votes. I think the rest went to Jasmine. I think it was like 80:20 Diana. And that was enough to squeak past Fantasia.

C) The split vote: Why were both Fantasia and Latoya both on the bottom? Duh! Their vores were split when Diana had a unified "white" and "good singer" vote, while Jasmine had the "Hawaii", "Asian", and the "I'll prove you wrong" (that's me and marlane) vote. That's why Fantasia, Latoya, and Jennifer were on the bottom back at Jennifer's boot.That's why Camile and Jasmine were on the bottom at the same time. And usually the two Jo(h)ns would be close to the bottom.

D) The "Cursed" song: Camile sang "Goodbye yellow brick road". She was gone. If you recall, i think i mentioned this befote but, Leah Labelle sang the same song that red head girl whose name escapes me right now sang. And both were 12th. "Don't leave me this way"...sounds like a plead for help. "I need a hero"...asking for help there too.

E) The compensational "asian" vote: The "finally an asian" idea. The guy who was on the final 32-or-so last year sucked ass. Jun from big brother, though a winner, no one watches Big Brother. Think of asians on a non-cable reality show? Dorothy from the Mole 2? No one really watched that show either. Shii Ann? I like her, but no one else does. With the Camile/Jasmine vote, i'd support one just to laugh.

F) Damn that Psychic: She said something about Jasmine doing well didn't she? Bee-otch.

G) The Mentalist knows: because he reads your mind. He knows why you didn't vote.

H) The "presumed safe" theory: This happened to ruben if you recall; he was bottom 2 one of those weeks. (Remember Justin Guarini was on the bottom 2 against Ryan Starr?) It's usually one of those "just make sure you keep voting" warnings. Hell it was a message during Jennifer-out-night. YOU presumed that she was safe so you didn't vote, did you?

I) Baby,baby,baby: I think it's the fact that Fantasia and Latoya have kids. How can a mother be an american idol? You'd be ignoring your child.

Oh well, you can have fun finding some middle ground between the 9 theories i gave you. I'm thinking its a mix of all 9.
