I think the anxiety has finally kicked in. It's that time again. Yep SkillsUSA time. Oooh I’m not nervous for two reasons a) I’m really confident in my team (i.e. Deannah, Johanna, Henry, Ricardo, and Me). Maybe it’s the fact that it's the same equation of 2 girls: 3 guys of last year. Or the fact that I printed out facts and stuff. b) I have won before, but this year it's either that Bronze or that Gold this year (though I will settle for a Silver- I like silver, it looks cooler). Any who, the TV room is in shambles as 4 monitors, 2 tripods, 2 decks (VCRS), 2 editing machines, 4 mice, 4 keyboards, 2 computer monitors, 2 computer towers, a microscope, countless plugs, wires and outlets, and even a crime scene investigation case are all packed up and ready. Ahh how I love quiz bowl. Though I had a revelation that I might be able to do well with Extemporaneous Speaking, but I'm better at sitting down and hitting a buzzer as I adjust the microphone so that the judges can hear me clearly.

I'm gonna miss American Idol! Mean I tells ya! But I make it home for survivor, so all's well.

You know what? Since Marlane, local ASD (Assistant Station Director) is not around because of VICA...erm SkillsUSA you know who is temporary honorary ASD? ISSIS! Woo-hoo! Hey issis, since you're not reading this, I'm rooming with that guy you like! Hahahahaha! I wasn't supposed to know that until we got on the bus, but I glanced over the list really quickly. According to my sources, I wasn't supposed to be paired up with He...err him but I'm cool with him. He's Christian...err I mean, he has some morality...no wait that still sounds sorta racist...umm I like him, in that cool "chubby Jesus" way. Lemme try one more time: He doesn't bother me, I’m cool with him. And this way I can make sure he actually is sleeping and is prepared for our competition.
