The Ipod Debacle

I got myself a new Ipod for my birthday and I was left with the question: What should I do with my old Ipod? Of course I thought: let’s give it to someone. Unfortunately for me I thought of two people: My sister, Michelle, and My boyfriend, Eric. Now it comes to my attention that I have many things to consider and here are some plusses and some minuses that I thought of:

- My sister already uses Itunes and has a good amount of stuff on her system. Eric uses Itunes and has barely anything on it. But most of the stuff on my sisters I own. Eric’s is mostly 40’s and 50’s and (oddly enough) Trance/Techno. Advantage? Eric, because my music accents his. My music envelops my sisters.

- My sister lives in Florida. Eric lives in New Jersey. But Eric is coming up for my birthday. Distance. Why try sending it to Florida, when that costs money? Advantage? Eric

- My sister, with the help of Rich could actually transfer the files onto her computer to adjust the ipod to her likings. Eric’s computer should die any minute now. Advantage? My sister

- My sister just had a wedding. She has little presents and gizmos. I even gave her a best buy gift card (Traveling to Florida with a present is a little iffy). Eric had his birthday August 16th but I was there and there wasn’t much happening. Advantage? Eric

- My sister sends me cds, I send her cds too. I make Eric cds. Advantage? Neither

- Eric never really wanted an Ipod. I think my sister would want one. Advantage? My sister

After long thinking, discussions with friends and even a discussion with Eric, I have come to the conclusion that Eric will be receiving my Ipod. Sorry sis. I’ll still make you CDs though. So I guess you’ll have to make your own money and buy and Ipod. Adults.

- Paz.
