Blog Backlogging: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday...

I've been "busy" but sorta not really. Just had a lot to do. My mother is now constantly watching the movie "The Notebook" since she borrowed it from Auntie Marlette. How many times you ask? It's now eleven. But by tomorrow it will be twelve. Don't worry.

...hey! Mailman!...be back in a sec.

Eh, bills. And the National Guard wants me. Or something. Like, if they knew me, they wouldn't even bother. Clumsy. Nonathletic. Dorky? Yeah. Eh, lemme get this blog started. I can't really type either! I haven't used a keyboard in such a long time!...well almost a week!

Wednesday stuff.

+ It turns out that if you want to give a thousand dollars via western union to Portland, Maine there is a seventy-nine dollar fee. The better idea? A money order and then express mailing the money order. Total price? Umm...lemme do the math. (1.25+14=) $15.25! And a very happy Ate Mae. It also turns out that my mom doesn't know how to spell Frances. She spelled it "Francis." Good work, Ate Mae is 30 and you figured that out now.

+ I went back to my high school and what happens? It turns out that the TV people used the term "Pulling a Mike Pascua" because I didn't (get the time to) visit during Thanksgiving or Christmas, so they suspected that I’d never visit. Proved ya wrong! I visited! And it's sorta the same in the TV studio...well except for the Snow White poster. And the big printer. But other than that, all the same. I'll visit later on...you know May-ish. Supposedly Marlane said she's been sending me emails and calling, but I never got any calls. Or e-mails. (Marlane if you're reading this Mikpaz@gmail.com...or facebook me!)

+ Other than Mr. Leonetti I said hello to Mr. Raftery, my AP Bio teacher. And he was starting up the academic team...heh. Let's just say that they are really really easy to beat. Lincoln, I’m looking at you. If you lose to them, you are all retarded. Other than that I was talking about how the school is even more-so run down and how I got out at the right time. The school looks run down, like even worse than last year.

Oooh! Out-of-order-ness! Tuesday Stuff:

+ Went to the Galleria Tuesday. I never do that. I went to eat at this place called Todai with my dad. It's a Japanese buffet. [PS What is the mascot supposed to be?] I had to try some of the sushi. So I grabbed a California roll, a Philadelphia roll, and one with the salmon on top. The two rolls were okay, I’m not used to avocado though. The salmon, though fresh, was a little weird feeling in my mouth. I had gotten a tuna one too, but I was too scared after eating the salmon. They did have non-sushi items too. They had this pork thingie in a dumpling, which reminded me of that time I ate with Kevin at Barnaby's (gotta remind my sister if she ever visits again, we gotta eat there); it was good. Both times. And they had the cutest desserts! All little portions that you could use chopsticks with! (Just to make me look better while eating with chopsticks!) They even had a little key lime pie! I also saw this picture of Auntie Luisa (and the rest of the Filipino clan) on this board of birthday celebrations. Heh, I saw my mom's side of her head and Auntie Lia.

+ But really the important aspect of going to a mall is to go shopping. I bought a zip up sweater in green green at H&M. It's left-handed. And it's medium! I fit in a medium! Who'da thunk it? But only jackets and sweaters. And some shirts from certain companies. I got nothing from Old Navy, Aeropostale, Pac Sun, or...umm...hmm that's funny, I don't recall ever seeing a Gap. I've already voiced my opinions on American Eagle right? I always thought I'm too Asian for that store. And I always wanted to make my own style. Case in point? I found this store called "Xios" which replaced the Waldenbooks that used to reside there. (See my inner Virgo! I wanted to go to a book store!) And the store seemed a little shady to me, but hey! Low prices! Seven dollar shirts! Shirts that are three for twenty! So I spend thirty-seven dollars for five shirts. That's good in a college student state of mind. And then I spend twenty dollars for four shirts that I bought at...Sam Goody? Yep. I thought it was odd too. I have an odd feeling that I’m gonna need hangers. (Yeah I've gotten lazy to fold...or iron, except for special occasions).

Thursday stuff:

+ Last time to see my sister face to face for a while. She's moving down south. Florida. She left stuff at the house, including a certain White Toyota Corolla. Which will be used as barter for a certain Navy Blue Toyota Corolla. I drove her car around the block. And I gotta admit, I drove well! And I backed the car into the parking space! Perfectly. No scratches! I think having someone sitting next to me made me nervous in the beginning. But I will be okay.

...Look at the time... I have to go cook/eat dinner. If I think of something, I’ll post. Have a nice rainy weekend

-Mike.

Heh, I was at Todai! Arlyne and I went around the mall for a little while. I got one of 'em wristbands that say "UP YOURS" on it. I actually don't like the food there. Yuck. The desserts, though, are pretty good. The green tea ice cream actually tastes like green tea. YUCK! I really liked the crepes though. Hmm, the Sam Goodie shirts looked cool when I saw them but I'm broke. Heh, wouldn't that be funny if we bought the same shirt and wore it on the same day. Let's see, umm, I think that I have a story, not a big one, but interesting. Yeah, alright I'm done.

Yay!!! I'm here in Florida, doing, well unpacking and finding out that I shouldn't go to the local Winn Dixie, but to Publix instead. I wish I could have tiny desserts and I'm happy you drove my car around the block. haha. I knew you would. Because you were just standing around waiting for us to get going and I just knew it. When are you coming down for a visit? You'd like it here, there are a lot of old people doing nothing. haha
