I'm a little jealous of my mother
...She got to see Josh Groban in concert. Pretty close to the front too. She was laughing at the fact that when the house lights went on everyone in the concert hall was old. She didn't even have tickets when she (and Aunty Marlette) went to Mohegan Sun. They were gonna go to a scalper! But alas, they checked the ticketmaster booth-thingie and they managed to get two 95 dollar seats. She was saying how she could see Josh go from side to side without any problems. And she saw Josh's younger camera holding brother in the sides too taking shots (she remembers him from one of those bonus DVDs that came with one of those Josh Groban CDs). And the old people were all wild. With Glow sticks.
My mother also went to a tax man that had a little bit of ADHD. But the biggest point that the ADHD taxman noted that I'd like to mention was that he never buys things from Radio Shack. Eww. My mother (like I) sinned on Ash Wednesday too. I couldn't help it. It’s not like I tell my dining hall to make chicken and beef on Wednesdays.
She was also telling me how everyone's getting prepared for the Lea Salonga events. There'll be 16 people in an 18 person limo. I really hope out of nowhere it's an 18 seater Hummer. But I think it might be a SUV type. According to my mother, the fathers are opting not to see Lea Salonga in place of a booze night. You know I’ll be there, snapping pictures. Lots of them.
...umm anything else? Baby Girl goes home lots of weekends. My mom had a steak and egg breakfast on a fish Friday. Umm... Joking about what to wear in a limo (she thinks that maybe we should be all "prom"). Ah, phone calls from my mother = exciting. She always seems to have something to tell me, and it's always interesting, no matter what it is. Maybe it's her... "Approach".
I love ya mom.
-Mike.
PS Rojo was my first Spanish word I learned. From Dora the Explorer. Rojo = Red. I like Red.
