It seems to me that everyone around me are slowly falling in love. Wierd...I don't think about stuff like that. Maybe it's because i'm focused on school. Maybe it's the fact that there's no one really around that i would click with. Maybe it's that i'm an idealistic Virgo that thinks that there will be true love, and it will come when it wants to. (I personally like the third choice, makes me seem more interesting.) I guess it's because people are just pushing for love...or just some shameless sex. Love will find you when you least expect it (whoops, idealistic Virgo is pushing for victory). I hope it doesn't turn out all "Serindipity" on me.
I think after getting through VICA, i gained some confidence. I'm really gonna push it by doing good this final quarter. I finally got out of the failing rut in Physics and Math...i'm passing! It was wierd though, the fact that out of 9 students, only the 3 guys passed (Bruce got a 90-something, I got an 80-something, Alan got a 70-something). Amanda, Vilma, and Marlane were on a race for last (35,30,34 respectively). I'm gonna write good essays dammit Mr. Sileo! And if you don't give me a good grade, i'll...i'll...hmmm... I dunno, I guess i'll just do better next time (take that! :P ). Mr. Dawson, expect everything on time this quarter (double :P )!
Anywho, I had a friend this fellow classmate who's reading this really (hmm...dumb wouldn't be such a good word) "eh" book called Old Magic (don't even ask me who wrote it). So during my gym class I sat down and read the first two chapters. Geez, is this book more girl-oriented or what? (This is what i got from it) Its about this girl (whose name i don't remember) who is a witch (a good witch...she calls herself a "healer"), but obviously this story isn't just about her (insert love interest here) *PooF* here comes this new kid (named Jarrod...i remembered that because there was that Len song "Steal My Sunshine" where the girl goes "Jarrod...I love you") and so the popular guy sorta makes fun and picks on poor new kid Jarrod (in the midst of Girl trying to probe Jarrod's mind). Then Jarrod (uknowingly) explodes and starts controlling the weather, sending objects flying, and everyone else ducking. He gets cut by a shard of glass and (also unknowingly) looses his concentration. Girl decides to bring Jarrod to her grandmother, turns out that she's a "healer" too (duh!). She tries to introduce Jarrod to being a witch and stuff. He is dumbfounded. END OF CHAPTER 2.
The chapters were a little wierd though. The chapters would alternate between the girl's perspective and then Jarrod's. I thought it was okay, i may have read more of it. I just hope he ("said individual"/"sad individual") doesn't get any ideas and go all "The Craft" on the school. I'll have to do something about that (whoops, getting all analitical Virgo on you).

Last Thought: Tracy Chapman is still cool (I like "Fast Car" and "Give me one reason")
