Home

Ahh the return to 56k modem that runs at 38k or something, how i didn't miss you. I got signed off the first time in like 6 months. Oh AOL how i really didn't miss you either. Fortunately right next to my computer is my laptop blaring away at shuffled songs on my Itunes. I'm feeling mighty lazy but i have to convince myself to move around or i'll gain 5 pounds... in a day. I can't get off of a few video games i bought. I've been non-stop playing Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories before i go to sleep and right as i wake up. I bought Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 because it was on sale and now i'm trying to (legally) beat each level. I'm not cheating in this one. I also (finally) got Legend of Zelda: Wind Wa...ker (i'm never sure if there was an L there... you know the occasional mind trick convincing you that there is one more letter than there actually is) and viewtiful joe for gamecube and i'm starting up on both soon. I'll hopefully break into some Dance Dance Revolution after i type this.

I'm actually already gearing up for my year end wrap up by listening to my audioblogs and typing down any of the stupid things that i said that pique my interest. I think i've been smitten with this hoodie that i bought. I often forget how warm hoodies are since i don't wear them often. It's purple! And it's warm. It says "Washington" on it, but i don't care. It's purple and it's warm.

Oh yeah one more thing, (This is mondo old but) I gotta thank Kevin for reminding me that I don't need a reason to move out of my dorm. If there is something in my mind or my heart or my stomach that is telling me to move, i should move. Then again i guess i was disliking the situation i was in anyway. Michael unhappy = doing something to make me feel happy again.

A cheesed ending

So i just got back from my "history history" class and all we had to do was hand in our papers, our professor said his peace and we were all gone. Then the cheese errupted from the volcano as i turned on my ipod. After the miracle of shuffling songs on the ipod, i landed on what? "Proud to be an american". Of course, the best way to end a US history class is to end off with the idea that americans are the bestest ever. Then to add upon all the cheese there were hawks flying in the sky. Then followed by like hundreds of sparrows. It was like being all majestic while the harmonies of the second season of american idol sings this song about being proud of all the men and women in our country.

I thought about it and i liked all my professors...and adjunct. Professor Jin? I have his test next, but he is such a cool teacher. I know a lot of people complain about his english, but i like it. It makes the class more...well Chinese. Professor Jerry Persaud? I am very impressed by the amount of information he knows about the media, not just his field, but general studies. Professor Delia? He's retiring, he's such a nice guy too. He's like in his seventies and he's happy and you know he knows a lot about history, he just gives off that look like he's lived through everything. Not like ancient, but...like a wise man (for a lack of better words). Professor Dziuba? Funny funny man. I really hope that Althea will have as much fun as i did. You gotta love the musicians. And Joann? I still can't spell your last name. You suffer from virgo syndromes. You like hello kitty. That's cool.

Oh i gotta get packing. And i sorta have to prep my stomach for pizza challenge 2004. Or whatever it's called.

PS. My itunes say that i have 2.2 days filled. So i'm in third place. But my ipod has 3.22 GB full already. I am very very thankful that I have a 20 GB ipod. I'd be at 4 and i'd be done if i had a mini!

Hi guys

You know what? I had a great weekend. Odd isn't it? If you were certain person, you'd think otherwise but it was great, refreshing almost. I'm currently typing at a computer lab because i just finished my media and society final, i'm wating for Angela to finish. See there's this little thing known as our media and society project and we have to hand it in today. But of course we never got to see Tim after the last class so we're hoping he has everything. They're both still taking the test. I thought the test was a little hard, but the essays were very easy. That's because i focused my studies on those. Whoop, here's Tim now, hole punching behind me. I really hope he doesn't have super vision and can read this.

Anywho, my weekend was good. Great almost. After a long drive back to Yonkers (it was mostly long because i had to wake up at 5:30 and my dad picked me up at six) I got back and went shopping with my mother. Ahh, shopping always eases tension for me. I of course bought grood clothes, and my shirt and tie for the party later that night. And other clothes too, but that doesn't matter right now.

It soon was 5-ish and i was taking a shower, then returning to "The Bamboo Grill" for another christmas party with that inactive army navy group of filipinos (Called PAFNAG). I sang my ass off, and i think i hurt my diaphram. Or my lung. Anywho I also won a 50-50 prize! A george forman grill.

Oop. Angela is done and i gotta get going. Will talk soon.

Recap...and things ahead, so not a full recap

Hi there, after a nice long weekend at home, I finally am back at New Paltz, sans contacts! I totally forgot them, but it doesn't matter I’d be "suffering" for only what? Eighteen days. Not too tough. Granted I'd be having at least (at least) 6 hours of sleep 6x18 is...108. 108÷24 is...4.5. See! 18-4 is 14 and that means I only really have 14 days to "suffer". But then again, I’m going home the weekend of the 11th-12th. So that means technically I could be getting my contacts back 5 days earlier. So this math I went through was useless. Heh.

Anywho I managed to unpack all my stuff. I got an e-mail about if I wanted to move out, I’d have to go to all these meetings in different halls. Mostly on the 30th, 1st and 2nd. I am gonna move. Really, this time it's true! Again, it's not my roommate [he's cool]; it's more like my dad dislikes the suite idea. Hoo! A real answer! Real support! "I disapprove of your living quarters" <- enough of a real answer to actually leave. So I'll either be moving out to another hall or...hell even another room in Bevier. But jeez, have I told you about the fire drills?

Eighteen Days. I decided against bringing my Playstation 2 back to my room after the Thanksgiving vacation. I know that this is now crunch time and there aren't really many classes left. Most of the classes will be review days and test days and I don't want a distraction like Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, Parappa the Rapper, or even Dragonball Z (yes I admit to owning a Dragonball Z game). But don't think that I'm totally off of doing anything. Granted I'm typing this up in a computer lab ("free" printing) but I still have the Sims 2 and Tropico on my Laptop. And I have my gameboy advance SP. Oooh and one of my $4.50 books I bought at that bookstore at the Woodbury Common Outlet. The one about ecstasy. Will tell more about the book later...especially after I finish reading Fight Club.

Speaking of Christmas (huh?). I started on Saturday to put up the Christmas tree in the living room. I gave it the theme I wanted it to be last year. "Royalty". It's gonna be lots of purple and gold. If I see my dad putting green on the tree. Oh geez, the theme might retard to "The Grapes of Wrath". I couldn't put the tree up downstairs, some branch problems and all. But I did think of a theme. (Which most likely will not be used sadly enough.) The theme is "Dizzy, my head is spinning". Because it was going to be a spiral downwards in lots of different colors...like those candy canes that are...well in different colors swirling downward...since the tree rotates. Last year the theme of that tree was "To everything, there is a season (Turn, Turn, Turn)" and I was hoping to maintain the "Oldies" theme downstairs. If that tree downstairs becomes "Proud to be an American" again...teeth will be ground down...mine of course.

Ooh I could just spank those little children. I'm looking mostly at Chelsea (whose name isn't spelled like that but it's easier for me to spell it that way). Reason? They ripped down each and every one of my glow in the dark stars in my playroom. Each of them was rubber gum/glue thigine-ed or taped right on the wall. So all I saw afterwards were little circles of white gum-thingie and tape on the walls from where they once were. Not to mention the CDs on the bar. About 12 of them were ripped down. Now I don’t just go into peoples houses during parties and start to take down items from the WALL. I take much offence to what they did. I don't go to a house and take pictures of family members, or paintings, or anything STUCK to a wall and pull them down. Even at the age of 6 I was taught to respect people's property. I consider my CDs on the wall or on the bar-thingy or even the strategically placed glow in the dark stars works of (retarded) art. Does this mean that I have to put my works of "art" in a frame so that little children will think it's "respected property"? I also am a little angry at the fact that the girls older than Chelsea, I’m looking at Allison, Ciara, or even Cheska, didn't say to Chelsea "That's wrong Chelsea". Well, Chelsea, that was wrong. And if your mother saw that, or even hears about this right now, god help you.

...

Now where was I? Oh um, yeah the drive to New Paltz was killer yesterday. Torrential rain and stuff. Luckily jamming to Billy Joel's "The Stranger" CD always brings me to a "driving" zone. And it's cool. When I got back (around noon) there still weren't any students at the school. Still like "Silent Hill". Except for fog, the rain was coming down like a bee-otch. I downloaded the unofficial remake of King's Quest 1. And it was great. It brought me back to the days I played kings quest 6 and 5 (in that order). It would occasionally freeze on me, but it was okay. I saved every time I did something, so I wouldn't lose any progress.

I think I’ll stop here. It's almost 11 and I should get at least one chapter done in Fight Club. And figure out where I could live next semester. Whether it's 213 Bevier (instead of 211) or maybe in another hall. Who knows? But I have to take the initiative and DO IT THIS TIME. :)
