Yep it’s like 9 in the morning as I write this...err type this. Anywho, Jason moved in yesterday night (no sign of Logan whatsoever) and he's cool. He's 28 and a junior...eh, people these days. So this morning I decided to help him and walk him to his class in Humanities, which is pretty far from Lenape. When I was walking back, I already had Lenape in sights and this Indian girl is walking towards the Student Business Building (note: far from Humanities) toting this map, she stops me and asks me, "How do I get to the engineering hall?" So I thought in my head, "Geez this girl is really really lost. The engineering hall is down nearby Humanities." So I decided to walk her there. I'm not sure if she wanted to strike up a conversation at points, but she was asking me things like, "Is this the library?" when there was a huge sign in her face that said "Capen Hall”. So I walked pretty much twice to two buildings that I really didn't need to go to. AND I didn't have to help either. On a normal day, I'd be asleep right now. Odd isn't it?

My mother and I think that some people like that are little tests that God gives you. You know a judgment of character. I woulda helped her, but I really didn't need to walk her (I never got her name, but I told her mine), especially in the cold coldness of outside. She would really be lost if I didn't help and I'm sure she was late anyway for her 8:30 class.

Anywho, I'm gonna do some laundry and then meet up for brunch-a-lunch and then to my first class. Financial Accounting. Next semester I have to take a no credit class to get into business class and stuff. Eww.

PS My wire for my headphones froze outside so they looked all rigid and stiff and still coil-y. I dunno, I just wanted to say that.

Really? *Sigh* No more lounging around and playing video games all day, and then watching TV... and the occasional shopping. I did top it off with a day of "work". I had (well not really had) to tutor Auntie Susie's kids yesterday. Didja know that only one kid is in a "-1" class? That's Cheska in 5-1. Kelvin is in 5-2, Ciara in 3-2, and Cheilsea (?! I could never spell her name because it's not spelled "Chelsea") is in 1-2. Anywho... tutoring... oh yeah. Kelvin can't pronounce things. A while back I mentioned "Con-fist-e-cay-shion" for "Confiscation" but yesterday he pronounced Plymouth as "Ply Mouth." I corrected him and later in the day he continued with the "Ply Mouth." Oh well. Something else odd. The children went in a room shift. Cheska now has her own room. Cheska and [other daughter] have Kenneth and Kelvin's room. Kenneth and Kelvin are now downstairs. That Cheska... if I was one of the other four I’d ask why she has her own room.

So I went clearance shopping today! A Coconuts nearby is closing so CDs were 25 Percent off! And they sell used CDs! Sale! Woo-hoo! So I went and bought 5 CDs... All from the 90s. Odd. Well here they are.

Savage Garden: (self Titled) - Chik-a-Cherry Cola! Actually other than "I Want You" and "Truly Madly Deeply" I know the songs "To the Moon & Back" and "Carry on Dancing" because they were used for something I watched before (I can't recall what it was, but it probably involved Sailor Moon). The CD was 7.99 and it was NEW! Ha!

Mariah Carey: Unplugged - Just for "I'll Be There" but of course I like the rest of the songs. I see now where Christina Aguilera got her influences from.

Billie Myers: Growing, Pains - Okay, yes a one hit wonder. And a 5 dollar CD. But the song is cool enough to keep. Remember "Kiss The Rain"? I do.

Alanis Morissette: Jagged Little Pill - Yes I know my sister has this CD, but I a) can't find it and b) it's probably scratched up badly. Alanis in her good times. I wonder when we're gonna say that about Avril. Speaking of my sister, I wonder whatever happened to that Live CD.

The Simpsons: Songs in the key of Springfield - I can't believe the Dela Cruz children don't watch The Simpsons! Everyone in their right minds does! (Prepositional phrases, it would be "Everyone Does" without the preposition right?) Me Fail English? That's Umpossible! Well This CD has the Monorail song, the Baby on Board song and See My Vest! And tons of good songs. Why hasn't Family Guy made a CD?

Yeah! But the clearance didn't finish there! Right next door from Coconuts was a Kay Bee Toys (Still with the old school "Kay Bee" on the outside!) that had 60%-80% off! I bought three items (A Memory Card, A Strategy Guide, and a Rumble Pack for my dreamcast) and it all totaled....... One Dollar! Ahahahaha. AND I got my dad to pay for it! Woo-hoo. Free!

One other thing before I go. My mother has started watching old re-runs of Dawson’s Creek! First Charmed and now this? She says, oh they have pretty boys on this show. I'm like, "Your not gonna like it as much when one of the pretty boys starts making out with some tertiary character... There was a gay one on this show right? I'm not making that up am I? I know it wasn't Pacey. Or Dawson. Or that girl, you know what’s-her-name. Or that other blond chick.

Well I'm pretty much packed up to go. My laptop is still out so I can upload my new songs to iTunes and then to my iPod after I rate the songs. I've finally reached 4 GB! Thank God for the fact that my iPod has 20 GB. I didn't realize how easy it is to fill up an iPod when you have an extensive listening range like I do. Sprinkle a little Ella Fitzgerald with some Biggie and some Chaka Kahn, and then a little bit of Third Eye Blind, some BeeGees and maybe even a little Jessica Simpson and you haven't even shaved off a top layer.

PS. Noooo! Chubby Tina! Noooo! Oh and American Idol? Funny. Amazing Race? Thank God Unnamable and Subservient were eliminated. Wickedly Perfect? Good Show, well not really it needs a “team leader” a la Apprentice (tonight!) Project Runway? One of the COOLEST/well edited reality shows on TV. I will miss you since (gay friendly) New Paltz doesn’t have BRAVO! Noooooo!

Unnecessary Post: Complaints of Battle of the Sexes 2 - This Season vs. Past Seasons (mostly Ruthie)

After all this season's hooplah about Ruthie not being such a strong competitor I question if the challenges weren't as "fair" towards Ruthie, especially with the car raising challenge. Maybe it's the lack of points that make her look weaker. But I guess I should pull towards more a "change" in gameplay. One of Ruthie's strongest competitions was on "Dead Man's Drop" where she lasted 7.5 Minutes. The problem with that number is that Ellen was pretty close behind her (she outlasted Colon from what I remember), but my point in mentioning this was that by the time The Gauntlet popped up, Sarah (their weak link) was holding on much much longer (about 40 minutes against Irulan if I recall, which also shows that Irulan made it to 38-39 minutes). Could Ruthie hold on for 40 minutes? Hell, could Ruthie hold on for 10? Ruthie never did a "head's on elimination" challenge like the gauntlet/inferno. The gauntlet/inferno showed how individuals could step up without points. BOTS2 misses that crucial point. It would be better (IMO) if the winning teams had to pick 2 people from the outer group, and the losing team to pick two of the leaders to go to an inferno/gauntlet/individual challenge where two people would be eliminated. Why? There is no points system posted for the gauntlet or bots2 (though inferno had a points system it was posted after the nominations [see: Syrus]). This would put a fairness in the leaders on who stays and who goes in their group: for the men they'd grab the two weakest, for the women they'd probably grab Angela, Tonya or Arrisa to go if they won, when they lose at least there is a better chance for "fairness" when its one-on-one, If Tina had to take on Ruthie, she would, and she'd do her best.

Maybe it's the girls that Ruthie is paired up with. You take a look at lots of competitors in previous challenges. Katie, who in BOTS2 was almost middle-field, was lowest rung in The Inferno and close to the bottom in The Gauntlet (With Sarah and PornoCara). Tonya in BOTS1 was questionable with her leg injury, but in The Gauntlet she was meh, too. Klepto is there either for a short short while, or there for the long haul, but only does good when there are men on her team. Coral does well, but has lost 2 challenges (oddly enough she lost challenges with weak members, one with Sarah and the other with Katie, and she won against the "highest point" teams). Aneesa never does that good, she's always middle field. She-hulk looks strong but she rarely delivers. Ayanna explodes no matter what. Tina has stepped it up from The Gauntlet to BOTS2, but mostly vocally. Ibis, Robin, and Sophia all are new, but all bring different forms of help for Ruthie: Ibis is smart/the puzzle person but you don't count out her strength, Robin and Sophia are strong. Arissa (fear of heights) and Angela (deemed weak, and with Ibis as the "smart one" they don't need her) are dead weight. If there was a final five instead of a three, Ruthie, Sophia, Robin, Tina/Coral, and Ibis could round everything out. But looking at BOTS1 there would only need to be a final 3: Ellen, Ruthie, and Emily; the likes of Lori and MElissa though nice are unnecessary. Ellen was useful and in almost all the inner circles, Emily (though disliked) was strong.

Anywho I will be posting something sooner or later this week. Adding a few more video games to this list was stupid of me to do, but I've been playing Chrono Cross and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. Boy, do I suck at stealth. I'll be mostly packing this week, unless Auntie Susie gives me a job on Wednesday. I laugh at you all who have to go back to college now (well sorta i'm sure my last day is later on and you finish before me).

If I was stranded on an Island...

And I could only have one food dish mysteriously there everyday? Oooh, a toughie. But since I had this for dinner (I know, I know, you won't be that surprised) I had this on my mind: Chicken Caesar Salad. There are lots and lots of things I can say about Chicken Caesar Salad. It covers most, if not all food groups. Starting with the fruits and veggies, then there's chicken which is meat, and then there is (well, in a good CCS) parmesan cheese and the dressing which is milk & dairy, I’m sure there are fats somewhere in here. It's too good not to have fat. Oh and crotons! That's bread. But what are other front-runners for stranded island food? Buffalo Wings, Cheesecake, Sweet & Sour Chicken, The Chinese food ribs.

Hi. I really have nothing to post. I'm doing well. I got my haircut yesterday with my mother, but I dread my hair will grow back right as the twentieth of January pops up. Snow! Yeah, it was a little overrated in Yonkers. But I kept looking at the weather reports and Poughkeepsie was in just plain old snow (whereas NYC and Yonkers had that pink "mix" over it.) I remember back when I was a kid looking at school closings and turning to the Weather Channel and looking at the map going, "Well, if its snowing in Poughkeepsie, then it should here in Yonkers. Poughkeepsie isn't that far away from Yonkers." Boy was I wrong. It's actually an hour and a half to get up there. And that's just New Paltz. Tack on another fifteen minutes and you're in Poughkeepsie. That hour produces snow like that. And in the "city" we suffer from frozen rain, rain, sleet, hail, everything but not snow. I really hope that it snows really heavy when I'm back in New Paltz. It's something I want to experience at least once. Then I would understand people complaining about snow. And the fact that I have decided to move to Lenape Hall? Further away, more walking. And after all that chicken Caesar salad I need the walk.

I've been itching to go to Atlantic City. Sounds odd right? But I love the shore, even the nasty Jersey shores. I love the walking up and down the boardwalk. I mean I finally can walk from Showboat to Tropicana (and then back to Caesars). I just remember a few times when it was extremely snowy and slippery. I still love times there. Yeah, I'm only eighteen, but I've learned to like other aspects of AC. The outlet mall. The "cheesy" stores with their necklaces and the fact that I always seem to get one. The other stores with bongs and stuff. I musta been retarded, for quite a while I was like, "What's that for?" I still wouldn't know how to use one. I mean, doesn't glass break when you heat it up? Am I thinking of this wrong? I guess I’m being a little stupid.

What? Another post so soon? Bah!

Yep, I'm trying to figure out if "future" posting works... or how it works. So I'm typing this at 10:45 at night and I am hoping that blogger will publish this in the morning *crosses fingers*
Anywho the point of this post? More lounging and loafing around. I laugh at you sorry children who have to go back to school. Tomorrow is free reign for me as I loaf and loaf some more! But people like Chris have to go back to school! Don't get me wrong, I love education and all, but I'm loving the college system of having a winter break. Actually if you wanna know the truth, I was looking around for a college that gave winter credits, but couldn't find one nearby. But I am planning to take some summer classes. Hopefully 2. But that's projecting pretty far right now. It's barely 2005.

BUT not yet the year of the rooster. You know how blogger has that bar on top of blogs? (Mine's silver) Well I pressed next blog and it brought me to this person who was convinced that it is now the year of the Rooster. Buzz, wrong! Chinese new year is a totally different date. I believe it's February 9th, 2005. Mark your calenders.

Anywho, my dad is off today, and I was thinking of getting a haircut, but my barber that I always go to is closed on Mondays. It is Monday right? Chillin' makes you lose track of time. And twelve video games confuse your head. I have to go read a book.... yeah, that's what I'll do, read a book....or try to then fall asleep and lose what page number I was on. Ugh, you don't know how many times that has happened to me. Maybe I'll try to go somewhere, do something productive in my life. Hang out at Barnes and Noble... type up a blog for tomorrow and see if future posting really works.

A couch-work lemon (making less sense than the original title that was here)

Ahh, another day of lounging around. Video Games and leftovers make a horrible, horrible situation for me. I really have nothing to do. I soon will unpack items for college and repack them, but I’m still looking for a big box to shove everything into. I've saved my files from my laptop to a CD just in case I lose them and need a reference to papers I wrote last semester. Because of all the food, there's no need for me to cook. Which sucks. One of the things that I missed in college was the ability to cook for myself. I'm not sure if I have the abilities to scan the Christmas pictures on this computer and might have to use my laptop instead.

Here's a good sign for me. My mother has commandeered my digital camera. That means only one thing. I think it's almost time for me to have a new digital camera. BUT it's not like it's totally necessary, as long as I have a digital camera with auto timer. You know, so I can take pictures of myself for my website (narcissist!).

I also don't understand why Blogger has never updated my profile. It says that I have only a certain number of posts and that my last post was in august. That and the comments. I don't know where they disappeared to. (Looks down) Wait a sec. Here they are! Yay! I'm good at html! Who am I kidding; I'm blaming this on pure luck and good reading skills.

So getting back to my day of rest (among my days pf rest) I watched Hero today. Very visually pleasing. My dad sorta stepped in at one point to watch, but he had to shower for work. And right as 1:55 hit, he was downstairs and looked at me, "Is it over?" Unfortunately for him it was. The story was a little convoluted to explain to him. But I liked it. The colors. The multiple storylines that was actually the same storyline but a lie and then and assumption of what actually happened and then what actually happened. That's why I couldn't explain it to dad. But I think he liked the visual candy too. He's not such a big fan of Chinese movies that prove that the Chinese can fly and walk on water. Speaking of my dad. I think he wants to have a mass at our house for Thanksgiving. That's thinking a little early right? But then again, when does he really think religiously? I mean he talks to me about celebrities and how they shouldn't talk about a) Religion or b) Politics. But I’m digressing (as usual).

I'm gonna have to recruit my sister for our non-annual discussion panel for the Grammy's. If you are reading, we're gonna look at a lot of categories, if you want a look I’ll give you the numbers: 1 to 8, 15, 16, 20 to 25, 28 to 35, 79 to 81, and 106. That's 29 categories out of I believe 108-ish. And that’s a lot.

I feel like working out, I’m going to my Dance Dance Revolution and dancing for a good 20 minutes. It tells me that it's about 2 miles, or like 2000 jump rope jumps.
